Does Vitamin B3 skin cream really work? Niacinamide Skin Cream Serum Review

I recently received a beautiful glass bottle of B12 vitamin skin cream to review from InstaNatural.  The official name is InstaNatural Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) Anit-Aging and Skin Lightening Serum.  I always like to try it before I review it of course.  I liked that it was light.  It didn't seem greasy, which is a plus.  I love that they use organic ingredients, but you have to look a little further.

Ingredients:
The list of ingredients are Organic Aloe Vera Juice, Vegetable Glycerin, Niacinamide (vitamin B3), Emulsifying wax, Avocado oil, Phenoxyethanol, Tocopherol (vitamin E), Neem Oil, Rosemary Extract, Hyaluronic Acid, Xanthan Gum, Tetrasodium EDTA, sodium bicarbonate, Citric Acid.

I am not too happy about Phenoxyethanol. Phenoxyethanol is at a rating of 4 (from 1-10) on the overall hazard scale as seen on Environmental Working Group's website as seen here.

So then I checked the rest, the only other ingredient that is on the "bad" list is Tetrasodium EDTA.  That is at a 2 on a scale of 1-10, as seen here.


After using it a few times a week for two weeks, I felt that my skin looked smoother and more clear.  My cheeks glowed a little red too.  I am in the process of trying it out on some scars on my foot to see if it diminishes them.  I will update after that experiment, however I want to do this for about 3 months.

Phantom Fit Resistance Bands - Do they work? Review

I recently received Phantom Fit Resistance bands.  I received this item as an active blogger from Phantom Fit in exchange for my honest review.  The stock photo looks just like the real item.  Each band has different resistance.  The blue is light, red is medium, green is heavy, and black is X-heavy.  I noticed right away that they have a if you break it, we will replace it policy.  They stand behind their product because they use the best quality materials.  They are made of snap resistant latex.  Phantom Fit also sent a card with some snappy workout music that makes you want to get up and move.  It also came with a carrying case.  Let's just say that they are working on a new case because the one they came out with was a little hard to utilize.  The bands wouldn't go back in the case very well.  You had to stuff them in.  This company started in 2014 and they are fixing the carrying / travel bag very quickly.  You can take these with you when you're traveling so you can get a little workout in during your getaway.

What happened when you used them?

I got sore the next day, that's what happened. I used the medium on my legs.  I put the red band around my legs and lifted one side a few times, then the other.  I repeated 12 times.  I was literally sore from just that small workout.  Let's be honest and tell you that I do not work out often.  I want to, but I never seem to "have time".  I KNOW I need to MAKE time.  It is very unhealthy not to exercise and move around.  Workout to me is going for a walk.  I think I need to get these muscles toned up too!  I have these wonderful Phantom Fit bands to help me get less jiggly!  I really do love them, I just wish I could put them back in a bag after use so they can stay together and not get lost.  I might be able to work my way up to X-Heavy, you never know!  If not, my man can use the X-Heavy all day long.  He used that one and his arm muscles were working nicely.  See picture below!

P.S. I asked him if he think they would work for him since he has some muscles already and he said yes , they could tone me up.

Forte Bellezza Ergonomic Handle Eyelash Curler Review

Today I received an eyelash curler from Forte Bellezza.  Right away out of the package I realized this was a well made eyelash curler.  It is not one you get from walmart or something.  It is heavier and seems like if you drop it for some crazy reason, it will be intact when you pick it up.  The ergonomic handles are the absolute best.  Holding it up to your eyelash is not awkward like it usually is with standard ones. The handles are said to be non slip too.  I didn't notice a different with that.  I really never slipped my fingers on a eyelash curler, but it's still good to know that it IS non slip.









I'm a woman who loves pink, so the handle color just made me feel all warm and fuzzy.  Forte Bellezza eyelash curlers would be great gifts for the make-up artists or enthusiasts.

They send a set of rubber replacements for your curler too!  When you're not using your eyelash curler, you can lock it into place.  The little lever on one of the pink finger holders locks into place in the other finger holder.

I really enjoyed playing with these and making my eyelashes curl up.  I didn't have any mascara on when I did this.  I've been told my eyelashes are long, so I'm lucky for that one I guess!  This eyelash curler really accentuated my eyelashes and the curl made my eye look larger, more awake, and perkier.  I am amazed!  I didn't put mascara on after the curl and it lasted at least an hour, because I kept checking for about an hour.  I then had to tend to the 3 year old and forgot to check.
