Free Splenda Essentials Sweetener and Review

Today I received a free sample from Splenda. They sent me 4 free packets of their new sweeteners that have added antioxidants in them. Also available is the sweetener with fiber or B vitamins. I chose the antioxidants for my free sample. Splenda also sent me two free coupons for $1 off any Spelnda Essentials No calorie sweetener. I plan on using them ASAP!

Review of Spelnda Essentials No calorie sweetener:
I made a nice sweet tea for myself and tried the Splenda with Antioxidants for the sweetener. I thought that the Splenda essentials tasted just like regular Splenda. I didn't notice the extra added good for you ingredients. That is a good thing! I think I will use my coupon and get the Splenda essentials with the B vitamins for more energy! Maybe one of each packet, fiber, B vitamin, and antioxidant for a more healthy me! If you use Splenda already, these Splenda Essentials products are a no brainer!! Use them and get added benefits for yourself and your family!!!

FREE Febreze Set & Refresh Air Freshener & Review

Today I received a free Febreze Set & Refresh air freshener directly from P & G.  The fragrance was Sweet Citrus and Zest.

This scent is wonderful.  It made the whole front part of the house smell terrific.  The scent lasted quite long, about 3 weeks.  It did not smell as quite as strong as the first few days, but there was still a nice fragrance when you walked into the door.  If you were in the house for awhile, you couldn't smell it much anymore.  If you were outside of the house for awhile and came back in, then you could smell it faintly.  It lasted about 3 weeks until we threw the cartridges away.  They claim it will last 30 days, but it fell a little short of that for us. 

Edit: 3/25/14 This scent is no longer available but Set & Refresh units and other scents are still on the market.

Free Clairol Natural Instincts Hair Color & Review + Before and After Pics

Today I received a coupon for a Free Clairol Natural Instincts Hair Color from Procter & Gamble Co. I ran out and redeemed my free coupon for a box of Clairol right away!! I thought they had a nice selection of colors to choose from. I chose light medium brown. I will update my review once I get to coloring my hair. Right now I'm pregnant, so I will wait. I can't wait to use it because I've gotten some gray hair lately!! Boooo!

I had my baby boy and finally colored my hair. The box says "blends away grays", so I was excited to do just that! My experience failed though. If you look at the before and after pictures below, you'll see that my gray hair was still visible after the coloring! I even left the hair coloring on for 30 minutes. I liked the color of my hair after using the Natural Instincts. I also loved how it shined after I used their conditioner from the box. The hair coloring dye didn't smell as horrid as some colorings but I still got a "you stink" from a family member while I was letting the hair dye do it's magic. I wouldn't buy this Clairol Natural Instincts because it didn't cover my grays.

FREE L'Oreal One Sweep Eye Shadow and Eye Illuminator Mascara & REVIEW

Today I received a free sample of L'Oreal One Sweep Eye shadow along with a L'Oreal Eye Illuminator Mascara.  They were packaged nicely and full size products.  I like L'Oreal products and they seem to want feedback a lot from their consumers.

I really liked the One Sweep Eye Shadow.  When I was in a hurry, I'd use this and my eye shadow looked like I knew what I was doing.  I always had a hard time making eye shadow look right on my lids.  Too dark here or there.  This was a one swipe deal on the eyeshadow and then onto your eye.  You have to make sure you place the applicator in the right direction when you swipe on the eyeshadow and then when you're applying it to your eye lid.  You need to flip the applicator over for the other eye and do it opposite of what you just did with the eye you started with first.  Sounds confusing, but it really isn't.  The color combination of these looked wonderful and really complimented my brown eyes.  I had always wore brown eye shadow and realized that these purple shades (Color 519) look rather nice with brown eyes.  I will be looking for this product in the store when I run out of this sample!  I want to be able to have this forever L'Oreal!

The Eye Illuminator Mascara has two applicators.  One was the color Black Quartz and the other side was sort of a bronze glitter.  The black was nice to put on and lengthened my lashes.  My lashes looked long after I put this mascara on.  When I applied the "Illuminator", I was quickly disappointed.  It looked like I sprayed glitter on my eye lashes.  It looked unfinished or I had gotten some brown shadow on my eyelashes and just left it.  I decided I didn't like it and just used the Black Quartz side, which I really liked.
