Today I received two copies of This Man, the first of the trilogy. It's written by Jodi Ellen Malpas. The cover looks exactly like the 50 Shades of Grey cover. I'm pretty sure that was intentional to get readers of that trilogy, interested in this trilogy. I think this book needs it's own unique cover. Jesse Ward seems like an abusive guy at first. I can't say he changes his way, as I haven't read the other two books. Ava seems to be enchanted with this jerk, but it's probably more about lust. I know he has a soft side, but at first he really seems like someone she should stay far away from. Jodi Ellen Malpas has pretty good flow with the characters she created. The words she used aren't overly big words, which makes it an easy read for most people. If you're interested in this type of erotica genre books, I recommend starting this trilogy. I'm going to lend one of the books to a friend, (if you're reading,just let me know where to send it). Then that friend can send it to one of their friends and so on. Email me!
