Navigating Emotions for Parents Ebook Review

Today I received an eBook to review called Navigating Emotions for Parents from Presenceparenting.com

To win your own copy of the ebook, enter at my giveaway here!

It seems like a bible for the emotions that sometimes get the best of you as a parent.  I like that it guides you and suggests ideas in a gentle manor.  If you are having a hard time with any kind of issue with keeping your emotions organized, then this book should help you.

The first line in this book asks you an important question?
"Would you like to choose how you respond when parenting feels intense?"

If you say yes or maybe, then this book is a no brainer.  Navigating Emotions can help you and your family and your kids become more harmonious if you follow the guidelines.  The book is only 28 pages, but it is FULL of wonderful suggestions.  It doesn't feel like a lecture, just a guidance from mom to other parents. This book guides you for occasions like how to navigate around that you yelled at your child then felt bad afterwards.  Or when you feel angry and the emotion keeps getting stronger and stronger the more your child misbehaves.  Everyone has been there as a parent.  Sometimes you had a bad day yourself and take it out on your child with yelling more often.  This book is going to help you handle parenting in a more easy going manner. I read the book and have definitely applied some lessons to my own behavior.  I love my child up to the sky and down, and the sky never stops going up, but we all get a little angry sometimes!

This book is available on Presenceparenting.com The author is Amy Phoenix.  She has a lot of information about helping you navigate your feelings and emotions with regards to parenting.  This is a useful website and I feel thankful that it is resource that many parents can go to in need of guidance.

Amy has webinars that you can sign up for free as well (click here to view schedule).  It's nice to hear real live people talk about the frustration or angers they have or have gone through.  It helps you relate and feel that these are normal emotions.  Sometimes we just need a little help in realizing how to channel them better.
